Coaching Support Groups are available in a town or city near you to provide coaching support for local communities throughout the UK. These are interactive sessions which take place once a month and are free for all to participate. These meetings are for everyone whether you are a coach or student coach, whether you are interested in coaching or whether you think that you could benefit from a free coaching session, come along because we would love to meet you.
At these monthly meetings there will be talks delivered on aspects of coaching, the chance to debate about current issues and the opportunity for people to experience free coaching sessions. Students are given the chance to practice their coaching techniques and form study groups, members of the community interested in coaching will be able to have all their questions answered and coaches have the chance to network with likeminded people and expand their client base.

I left school at 16 and in my first ‘career’ worked for a private pensions scheme rising to be the scheme administrator. I then commenced my education going first to Coleg Harlech and then on to Exeter University where I gained a 2:1 (Hons) in Psychology.
After a year in research I then went in to my second career in Social Work and Social Work Management. I took this experience with me in 2001 when I set up my own Independent Fostering Agency. This quickly established a reputation for its high standards of care for the children, the carers and in meeting the needs of the Local Authorities.
During my time in the Social Work field I also spent many years working as a Couples Therapist with the Dept of Clinical Psychology in Exeter, then as a family Mediator and I also completed the Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling.
I am now using much of the experience gained in the above fields to develop my ‘third stage’ career in Coaching. I shall be looking to focus on individual and executive coaching as well as coaching young adults, couples and am hoping to use my experience in court room coaching.

Biography:
An NLP Trainer (INLPTA) and coach also qualified in counselling, I have a background of 30 years' Buddhist meditation practice. I coach groups and individuals and specialise in helping people to let go of addictive behaviours, particularly smoking. I also work with my two horses, Brigit and Rowan, to offer horse-facilitated coaching. This enables humans to reach deeper levels of experience as we find within ourselves the qualities that allow for true connection with a horse, such as enhanced awareness, empathy, trustworthiness, confidence and authenticity. We offer horse-facilitated coaching for individuals and groups and also for businesses; horses are great for developing human leadership skills, teambuilding, confidence-coaching and creative problem-solving. We also offer deep ecology workshops: Heart to Heart with Horses, based on Joanna Macy’s Work that Reconnects, in Timberscombe
